The Global Cyber Security Capacity Centre is a leading international centre at the University of Oxford for research on efficient and effective cybersecurity capacity building. We promote an increase in the scale, pace, quality and impact of cybersecurity capacity building initiatives across the world.

The Capacity Centre has created a first-of-its-kind model to review cybersecurity capacity maturity across five dimensions which enables nations to review their cybersecurity capacity to benchmark, better plan investments and national cybersecurity strategies, and set priorities for capacity development.

With the Cybersecurity Capacity Portal we also offer a publically available online resource for good practice and expertise on effective cybersecurity capacity building. It also includes an inventory of global and regional initiatives by international and regional organisations, governments and other policy makers. By this the Portal contributes to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange with the aim make global efforts more strategic and efficient.
