My name is Dr. Sara Saeed Khurram and I am the Co founder and Project Director of doctHERs. DoctHERs is a novel healthcare marketplace that connect thousands of qualified female Doctors to millions of underserved patients in real-time while leveraging technology.
I graduated from DOW Medical University in Karachi in 2010. After initially trainingin the field of radiology,I soon realized that my passion lies in serving marginaiized and underserved women. I joined NAYA JEEVAN in 2011 and started working on maternal/child health issues in 2012. I felt tremendous empathy for those professionally unfulfilled women who were not allowed to practice their profession due to socio-cultural constraints. I resolved to create an innovative ‘3rd’ track, an alternate route of affordable, quality, timely healthcare delivery to under served communities.
