Mark William Datysgeld is a Brazilian researcher holding a BA and a Master's degree in International Relations, focused on Internet Governance and the impacts of technology on public and private policymaking. Within ICANN, he is affiliated with the Business Constituency, supporting Latin American entrepreneurs in their participation within the institution. This in enabled by a business partnership with the certification authority AR-TARC, where he serves as International Relations Manager. He is also the founder and coordinator of the open Internet Governance course Governance Primer, which currently has been carried out in 3 countries and is currently expanding to other regions.

He attended ICANN 53 as a member of the NextGen at ICANN program, ICANN 55 as an ICANN Fellow, ICANN 56 as a NextGen Ambassador, ICANN 58 as a second time Fellow, ICANN 59 as a private consultant, and ICANN 60 as a Coach for the Fellowship Program.

Ever since his first meeting he has been engaged in supporting the NextGen program and developing solutions to improve youth participation in the institution, as well as holding an active interest in ICANN's role as a global education platform for Internet Governance.

He was part of the Local Staff of the 2015 Internet Governance Forum; organized the workshop "Hands-on Youth-driven Internet initiatives" in the 2016 IGF; was panelist in WS90: "Achieving the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda in a Digital Future: Where do Youth Stand?" in the 2017 IGF.
