I am part of India's Internet Governance team that plays a pivotal role in formulating and shaping India’s Internet Governance policy. I would say my immediate as well as long-term career plans both revolve around the broad objective of serving my nation. I being an Internet Governance and an Information Security professional working with Government of India’s Ministry of Electronics & IT am well poised and on the way to achieve this goal.
I am working as a consultant at National Internet Exchange of India (NIXI). Currently I am being deputed from NIXI to work in "Internet Governance division" at Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (“MeitY”), Govt. of India under the India Internet Governance project (http://www.indiaig.in). “MeitY” is the nodal ministry for all Internet Governance related policies, procedures and deliberations within India. We contribute to resolve Technology and Policy issues for global Internet organisations / forums like IETF, ICANN, ISOC, IAB, IGF, APNIC etc.

To summarize, I would like to serve my country by actively participating in Government of India’s Internet governance policies, consultations, and decisions, however in a more informed and mature manner to make things better every time.
