Senior Advisor International Affairs
London
I was raised in Paris' Latin Quarter. During my teens, it had one of the highest concentrations of cinemas in the world, so I became a cinephile. My entire career has been with the film and audiovisual content production industry, which it has been a pleasure and an honour to contribute to. Over the past decade, I have been part of a team at the International Federation of Film Producers Associations [FIAPF], working to make the voice of creative audiovisual producers heard in the global debate about the social and economic impact of digital technologies and the Internet . We believe passionately that Internet technology and audiovisual creativity can be aligned to help foster the growth of sustainable local audiovisual content industries capable of developing and making relevant content which reflect and dramatise local cultures, their conflicts, hopes and aspirations. On Tuesday 6th December, 11.15, our IGF 2016 workshop, in partnership with the World Intellectual Property Organisaition [WIPO] will be an opportunity for audiovisual producers and creators from throughout the world to talk about what they expect from their growing partnerships with Internet video platforms and operators and to discuss what types of enabling regulatory frameworks are best suited to support the audiovisual industries' contribution to local and global gdp growth, innovation, job creation and cultural diversity. I am proud to be associated with this first IGF workshop entirely dedicated to the perspective of audiovisual creators on the Internet and its global governance.
